Not Entertainment

The problem with new player retention was inadvertently pigeonholed on comms tonight:
"It's PVE; you do it for the ISK, not the entertainment"

  1. I used to play EVE. I used to do PvE. Then skill extractors came, I extracted about a 100 billion isk from 2 alts. Now I don't play EVE anymore because I have no interest in PvP (I don't like twitch play) but Í don't need ISK anymore.

  2. Anything you can try to build can be easily destroyed by larger numbers, and if you try to build up larger numbers you will be betrayed and kicked down through anonymous alts so that the older players can keep their control on the game.
